John 4

I am falling behind a bit and will have to do some catching up eventually.
I am sooooo thankful for the beautiful sun shining today. It seems like God answered my prayers. I was just saying yesterday how the cold weather was literally about to drive me over the edge! It just seems like this winter has been a lot longer in terms of COLD weather than years in the past. So the sun today has picked me up and got me to clean my house, clean out my car, etc., with me a clean house and car is enough to put me in a happy mood for a while!

John 4

In regard to the Samaritan woman denying Jesus a drink of water , he says.
"Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again.
But whoever drinks the water I give him
will never be thirsty;
no, the water I give
shall become a fountain within him,
leaping up to provide eternal life." John 4:14

The disciples try to get Jesus to eat , but he says,
"I have food to eat of which you do not know." John 4:32

(It seems in this day and age we are all constantly trying to fill our selves with earthy things, food, shopping, other stuff too........... all we really need is God with us,He is the only thing that can fill ME. And to be honest I know that because I have tried to fill myself with other things and they are only temporary the only real way we can "fill" ourselves is through Jesus. I believe that with all my heart. It doesn't mean I never fall down and screw up , because I do, but I try to pull myself up by my bootstraps and keep moving on the RIGHT path)

and later

"I sent you to reap what you had not worked for.
Others have done the labor,
and you have come into their gain." John 4:38

To me this says the work has been done for our gift of eternal life, we just need to accept it. Through accepting this we will live our lives according to God's will. Not always as easy as it seems.
